what we can do to help ease world hunger?

I, as a human being eat almost everyday, I can pretty much say that I really love to eat, as if I was born to eat, and yes I'm a big eater. Considering that I can eat everything that I want, it makes me think how lucky I am to be living in this kind of situation.

There are people which are not so lucky as I do, if I look million miles away from where I'm standing right now, there are some country for example Africa, it should be Africa right, because Africa is the word the pass in our mind when we talk about poverty and world hunger.

As a kid, I grow up watching TV and saw some news about the world hunger, I saw those African kid with a super tiny thin body holding a small cup hoping that it will be filled with some food. It tears me apart knowing that they need to go through that kind of situation every single day of their life.

Contrary with what I been through in my daily life, I got food serve for me in a first minute of my day. I wake from bed and I have already got a breakfast prepared by my mom. I go to class and the cafe is already selling food to the student, as much as I can say is, I got food in every where I go.

So the question now is, what can I do to help ease world hunger. when we talk about world hunger it is really a huge topic, it is not just some kind of problem,it is huge, and it's sometimes makes me wonder what a person like me can do to solve it?

Well, I maybe not as rich as the late King of Pop Michael Jackson. Come on, the whole world know how great Michael was, he is an icon, he used his status to help overcome this problem, he made a lot of donations, he told the whole world what these people gone through. However I am not Michael Jackson, I do not have the power that he have. I just a 23 years old guy from Malaysia, so what can I do?

In my point of view, the first thing that I need to do is to thank the Almighty for giving me a great life, where the source of food never gets cut out. By being grateful I can surely aware with the situation faced by the others who is not so lucky.

Secondly I can always donate some money, yes, I maybe be not as rich as Michael Jackson, but I think every cent that we donate worth a million dollars knowing that the that we give is will be used in helping the world hunger victims. Third thing that I can do is, as a college student I can always manage to come up with an fund raiser event that can raise some amount and money and that money can be donated to any organization that is related in solving this issue.

So the conclusion is, it is not how big the money that you donate or how major the role that you played in solving this problem, but what is important is how to aware with the problem and take part in solving it. That is enough to show that we have hearts and we care about the hardness faced by other people.
