take care of your health

We have to pay for our health. When we get sick, we need to go to the doctors and some advices and medications .We have to pay for the doctor advices and medications prescribed by the doctors. In some cases, we are advised to undergo surgery and we pay for the cost of the operations. We try to save money by not going regularly to the doctors for regular medical examination. Some of us choose not to go and see the doctors not because we want to save money but we fear to be told by the doctors that we have such and such diseases. We choose detached on our health and we prefer to go to see the doctors when we are really sick. We think we can get health when we take the medication prescribe by the doctors or after surgery has been performed on us. According to research, men are more reluctant to spend money on their health when compared with women. Women will see doctors for their health more often than men will. According to research, men spend money more for their cars than on their health and women will spend money more on cosmetics and clothes than on their health. Generally, peoples spend money on their health only when they are sick. When they take medication, they usually want to get well as soon as possible. Many do not like to spend money on health. Many are willing to spend money on health only when they are forced to do so. Generally, many will only visit a doctor when they are sick and few will ever visit a doctor because they do not want to be sick. It is commonly said that prevention is better than cure. Ideally, the correct practice is to visit a doctor in order you would not get sick. Nowadays, is the practice of medicines follows the principle that prevention is better than cure or the practice of medicines is more to alleviate the symptoms rather than to cure? Is anyone among you are sick. Is anyone among you are having Diabetic or Hypertension. What doctors usually say about these most common diseases? Doctors will often prescribe you some medication that you have to take until the rest of your lifetime and usually all doctors would say to you that there is no cure for all these diseases.

Do all of you agree with the doctors, that there is no cure for these diseases? Doctors are supposed to be the expert on diseases and medicines. In my opinion, doctors should not say that there are no cures to all these diseases but they should say that we have not found the cure to all these diseases. Prophet Muhammad saw used to say, all diseases have a cure and so there must be a cure to all diseases but we have not found the way how to cure the diseases. Even experts on medicine cannot claim to be the experts, as the real expert is Allah who is the creator of mankind. As human, we have limited knowledge and we only know what Allah has thought us. I would like to ask all of you some questions. Is knowledge comes from reading books or knowledge comes from Allah. Allah thought Prophet Adam and Allah did not teach all the angels and so when Allah asked Prophet Adam, he can answer all the questions but when Allah asked the angels, none of them is able to answer the questions. Allah thought Prophet Khidir on certain matters which Allah did not teach Prophet Musa and when Nabi Musa followed Nabi Khidir, many things are not understood by Nabi Musa and Nabi Musa was advised by Nabi Khidir to remain silence until the journey ends. Many thinks knowledge comes from reading of books and listening to lectures but the truth is knowledge comes from Allah and Allah gives knowledge to those who often think and wonders about the creations of Allah and often ask the questions why? All the genius in the world has the qualities of questioning why? , How? Do you have this quality? Most do not like to think or to ask the questions, they prefer to follow. Prophet Ibrahim was a person who always thinks and asked the questions which normal peoples often do not do. He was a person who asked who is my God and finally Allah gave him knowledge to know that his God is the one that create him and the creator of the whole world and mankind. Allah gave knowledge to those who thinks and all thinkers are often the researcher and scientists. All these knowledgeable persons or scientists are only knowledgeable on material things but not knowledgeable on their creator.
Can we ask these questions, why we cannot cure many diseases, what causes some peoples to become sick?

How diseases can be cured and can we have a world without diseases?

Who makes us to become sick and who cure our diseases?

Is it true that germs cause us to have diseases?

It is true that evil spirit or Jinn causes us to have diseases?

Can someone gives us diseases or sent to us something that caused diseases to us?

Knowledge comes from Allah and as the Quran is the words of Allah and Hadis is the words of Prophet Muhammad saw and it goes without arguments that we can obtain true knowledge only from the Quran and Hadis and our research is only to prove that the Quran and Hadis are the truth. According to the Quran all conditions inflicting a person is influenced by their actions and that include all the conditions that inflicted a person in this world and hereafter. A disease comes from Allah and only Allah can cure all diseases. Other than Allah no one has the power to inflict any diseases to anyone or to cure any diseases. Diseases are not caused by germs or jinn or the actions of other human being. Diseases come from Allah and Allah inflicted a person with a disease because of their bad habits. Bad actions of a person are the causes of his or her diseases. When we have negative behaviors, we will have diseases and when we have positive behaviors, we will get health. Diseases and Health are the consequences of our own actions and not the actions of others. If we want to be healthy we must have a correct actions or in a medical term, a correct lifestyle. If we choose to have diseases, we follow a bad actions or a wrong life style. Health and diseases are from Allah but Allah destined us to have health or diseases according to the lifestyle that we have chosen. It is wrong to believe that diseases come from Jinn or it comes from the action of other peoples or it comes as a result of the infection of germs or viruses. Diseases are the result of our own actions and in children; they inherit the genetic of their parents

All over the world is moving towards another new paradigm of the causes of diseases. The whole world used to believe that germs and viruses and worms cause diseases. All these creatures of Allah are involved in the process of diseases but they are not the causes of diseases. Scientist in the olden days used to detect the presence of germs and viruses and its relation to the occurrence of diseases. When scientists found penicillin can kill germs, antibiotics were found and later various types of antibiotics are found to kill bacteria but not viruses. Men have not found anything to kill viruses. Now there are many diseases that are not associated with the infection of germs or viruses. Evidence shows that wrong lifestyle causes diseases. How wrong lifestyles can cause diseases. When we have wrong lifestyles we will have both emotional and physical stress. Stresses effect digestion of food, absorption of foods and elimination of wastes. When a person has stress that the body cannot handle, production of digestive enzymes decreases, bad bacteria in the bowel proliferates; stored minerals are used to counter stress, increase of heart beat, increase blood circulation, storage glucagon are used to provide extra energy to the body, absorption of food is reduced and the desire to have food reduced but in some people it increases.

Prophet Muhammad saw says the centre of the body is the stomach. If the stomach is good then the blood that flows in the body will be good and the person will get health. If the stomach is bad, the blood that flows in the body will be bad and the person will get diseases. When a person is stress the first part of the body that is affected is the stomach. Stress is of two types; Emotional and physical stress. Emotional is related with the mind and soul and physical is related with the body. Men are made of mind, body and soul. Emotional stress is conquered by always be happy, forgive and forget, and have no fear, no frustration, no sadness when not getting what we want, no malice on anybody, positive outlook, talk positive, and always think positive. Physical stress is conquered by eating good foods, eating and cooking foods the correct ways and always do exercises

malaysian tiger

In our country, when we talk about Malaysian Tiger it is synonym with our own Malaysia National Football Team. Football is one of the major sports in Malaysia and our country used to be one of the biggest forces in the history of Asian football during the 1950s until 1980s.

During that period of time our National Team had played in many of major tournaments. One of the first achievements by our national team was to won the bronze medal during the 1962 Asian Games. However the team that won the bronze medal is known as the Malaya National Football Team. After the establishment of Malaysia in 1963 our National Team qualified to the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. Two years after later in 1974 Asian Games our National Team repeated their achievement in 1962 Asian Games by winning the bronze medal again after defeated North Korea 2 – 1.

During the 1980s our National Team once again qualified to the Olympic Games in Moscow after defeated South Korea 2 – 1 in Merdeka Stadium. However our National Team did not participate in the Moscow’s 1980 Olympic Games due to the Soviet Union invasion towards Afghanistan. Our National Team final achievement before the 80 come to its end was to become the Gold Medallist in the 1989 SEA Games held in Kuala Lumpur. Our National Team defeated Singapore 3 – 1 in the final match held in Merdeka Stadium to become the winner.

Then, came the dark age of our National Football era. During the 1990s our National Team hits the bottom of the ocean. They failed to regain any achievements, the fans lost their faith and our National Team lost plenty of game and was always humiliated by the opponent.

However in the early 2000s, the sun started to shine on our side, during the 2001 SEA Games held in Kuala Lumpur our National Team became the silver medallist after being lost to Thailand 0 – 1 in the final match held in Shah Alam Stadium. Eight years later and after twenty years of wait, Malaysia is once again a winner and a Gold Medallist in the 2009 SEA Games held in Vientiane Laos. Our National Team defeated Vietnam 1 – 0 to won the Gold medal.

Year 2010 is the year where the tiger if finally unleashed. Our National Team took part in the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup. We lost our very first game to Indonesia 1 – 5 even though being able to score first during the game. Despite the big lost, our National Team managed to be in the semi final after defeated Laos 5 – 1.

In the semi final our National Team take on Vietnam in a home away match. The first match held in Kuala Lumpur saw our National Team defeated Vietnam 2 – 0. In the second match we managed to drew level with 0 – 0. With the 2 – 0 aggregate we marching our way to the final match against Indonesia, the team that defeated us in the first game with five goals to one.

The final match was also in the home away format. Our National Team managed to play the first game at home soil. We won the game with three goals to none. With the three goals advantage we stepped into the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. We lost the lost match 1 – 2. Despite the loss we were crowned as the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup Champion after beating Indonesia 4 – 2 in aggregate.

Since that win, Malaysian football scene has shine again like how it used to in the 1970s – 1980s. The fans have regaining their faith towards our National Team. The game of football has really united all the Malaysian despite being different in race, religion and belief. This really shows that we do not need some politician to unite us, all we need is men and a ball.

how I overcame challenges during Ramadhan

Generally, in Wikipedia Ramadhan is defined as the statement below:

"Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, which lasts twenty nine or thirty days. It is the Islamic month of fasting, in which participating Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and sexual intimacy with their partners during daylight hours and is intended to teach Muslims about patience, spirituality, humility and submissiveness to God. Muslims fast for the sake of God and to offer more prayer than usual. Compared to the solar calendar, the dates of Ramadan vary, moving backwards by about eleven days each year depending on the moon; thus, a person will have fasted every day of the calendar year in thirty four years time. Muslims believe Ramadan to be an auspicious month for the revelations of God to mankind, being the month in which the first verse of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet, Muhammad S.A.W"

In my point of view, Ramadhan is the month where we teach ourselves to be a better person than we were before. As a Muslim, we should be excited when the month of Ramadhan is finally arrived. However if the feeling of excitement for Ramadhan is no longer in our heart, than we should ask ourselves where do we really stand as a Muslim.

Being a human and a Muslim, we cannot run away from making mistakes in our daily life, especially during Ramadhan. As mentioned earlier, during the month of Ramadhan all Muslims are refraining themselves from eating, drinking and having sexual intimacy during the daylight hours. These are the major things that are being forbidden during the month of Ramdhan and all Muslims seem to understand it.

However, there are some minor things that all the Muslims seem to be ignored during the month of Ramadhan. For example that minor thing can generally be like talking behind people’s back, spending a huge amount of money for breaking fast and hari raya, and get through a whole day without doing anything because they were too tired fasting. These are some of the example what Muslims nowadays did without ever realising it. They thought these things are okay, since they already restricted themselves from eating and drinking.

As a Muslim, we should have known better that fasting is not just about refraining ourselves from eating and drinking, but fasting is about being patience and get ourselves closer to God Allah S.W.T. We need to find and understand the true meaning of Ramadhan in order to avoid ourselves from doing all of the unnecessary things.

Ramadhan is the month where we teach ourselves to be closer to God. During Ramadhan we must practice everything that have been thought to us by the Quran so that when Ramadhan came to end we have already get used to the things that we did during the month of Ramadhan. There are plenty of things that we can do during Ramadhan that can make us closer to God; one of the most important things is to perform our prayers five times a day.

Islamic prayers or Salat is the second act in the Five Pillars of Islam, where this shows us how important it is to the Muslims. If we rarely pray five times a day before, then in the month of Ramadhan we need to perform it five times a day, if we already do it five times a day before then in the month of Ramadhan we can perform the Sunnah Salat such as the Tahajjud, Duha and also the Tarawih. Therefore hopefully we can be a better person and a better Muslim in the future.

We also should recite the Quran during the month of Ramadhan. As we all Muslims know, this is the month that is superior from any other months in which the almighty God Allah S.W.T revealed his final revelation, the Quran. By reciting the Quran we can feel closer to God and can help us get through the everyday challenge during the month of Ramadhan.

As a Muslims we were taught that every good deed will be rewarded and every sin will be punish. So Ramadhan is the month where we need to stop ourselves from making sins and make more of the good deeds. As said the the Surah Al – Mulk chapter sixty seven verse number twelve:

as for those who fear their Lord unseen, for them is Forgiveness and a great Reward

Avoiding ourselves from making sins not only grant us a reward but also grant us with forgiveness from the almighty God Allah S.W.T.

In conclusion, perfoming our Salat, reciting the Quran can be a way to help us overcome the everyday challenge in the month of Ramadhan, and it will also grant us with reward, and if we keep on doing this good thing sincerely in the month of Ramadhan, insha’allah it will keep on going in any other month and hopefully we will be granted Jannah in the end.

love & death

He was a son. He was also a not so good football player. A brother, a someone’s friend and some girl's husband or some kid's father in the future. However it is not. I never knew him, and I guess now I never will. Grief is like the ocean, it is deep and dark and bigger than all of us and pain is like a thief in the night, quiet, persistent, unfair, and diminished by time, faith and love.

Did you ever wonder what it would be like if you were not you anymore? If you were suddenly gone, how would your world react? Whatever you imagined was wrong. There is nothing romantic about death, at least which is what people always said, but not me. Death tears people apart, we should agree on that, death rips our heart into a broken pieces, we should agree on that, death separate our soul from our body, yes, we should also agree on that. Death is evil, dark and lonely.

I did not know him but I am jealous of him because I see how his absence has affected the people that did know him, so I know that he did matter to them. And I know he was loved, so I guess somehow and somewhere in the middle of this anger we have towards death, I guess death is also love, which what people will disagree with.

Death lead us to forgiveness, it wakes us up that this life is too short for an anger, jealously, hate, and a rivalry. When death arrived, it strikes us like a lightning, coming through our chest, and in a blink of an eye, we knew that everything is over. We cannot have our second chance because what we only have is this one chance, and this one chance will be taken away from us, and we did not know it how and we did not know it when. Death is like an unseen shadow.

Generally love is beautiful, and love never dies, not even when death is arrived. Death can take our souls out, that is for sure, and death leaves our bodies inside the ground and let our souls fly to the air, searching for a place, called heaven or hell. See, death is evil, but no matter how evil death is, it cannot ever take love away with it, because love, unlike death, it is hard to leave us.

He is dead, but these people still feel his presence although this world has eaten his body, but his soul is still here, flying around, messing around, and try to fill those empty voids that are left in everyone’s life. Love is guarding his souls, like a halo, protecting it from the death, so that those people that love him can cherish all those great and happy moments when he was alive, death can never take away that, no matter how evil it is.

There is nothing romantic about death, but death does bring love together, and the love that has been brought will protect everything that is left behind. Is death cruel? No it is not. Death is just something sad, because we are losing, because we thought everything is over, but it is not. Death is not losing, death is a continuing, continuing of the soul’s life where yes indeed we cannot feel it’s presence, but we can feel its love, because love is protecting it, from another death.

He is dead. But his love is pretty much alive, it is graceful, inspiring, and having a lot of promising ends. During his lifetimes people said, on a happy moment he will craft a smile, as if he was almost seemed as though he could fly, but I guess now, without any doubt, he surely can.

the beginning of life as a bachelor student in UniKL MICET

Week 1- Registration and orientation

We are back!!!! This is one of the branches of University of Kuala Lumpur that located in Taboh Naning, Melaka. Here, the main faculty is technology chemical engineering and it is divide into several course such as process, food, environment, bio-process and bio-system (only for bachelor). Registration was held on 17th July 2011 at UniKL's Hall. We are so excited.

Week 2- Are ready for study !!!!

Finally, the holiday for us is over and now is time to focus and gain more knowledge. It feels so strange to call us a senior (ex-micet) but at the same time, we also very excited to start learning from lectures here and looking forward to get involved in all activities that have been organized. For new students, it takes a few months adjusting to the new surroundings although they are excited with campus life. As a senior, we know some students are frustrated because they do not know what to do, others adapt well themselves to new environment. An advice from us, be sure to spend university days wisely. There are plenty of ways to make the best of a campus life. For example, joining clubs and studying hard are the best methods to make the best of life in campus.
